A LETTER FROM THE MAYOR

As a partner with the U.S. Census Bureau, the City of Abilene is working to ensure that everyone is counted once and only once in the right place. To achieve this goal, we need you to be involved in spreading the message that the 2010 Census is easy, important and safe. Here are some ways you can help:

• Identify ways to reach residents located in Hard-to-Count Areas.
• Include our Media Resources in your advertisements, newsletters and correspondence with your customers and employees.
• Spread the word that the Census Bureau is hiring.
• Check out the latest News to stay up to date on the 2010 Census.
• Complete your 2010 Census questionnaire and encourage your neighbors to do the same.

Please join me and support our efforts to ensure that no one is left uncounted and that Abilenians receive the fiscal and social benefits they deserve.
